360|MAX Sessions selected. AWESOME stuff!

As if you needed any more reasons to attend Adobe MAX, we’ve locked down the line up for 360|MAX. Not that you need a reason to attend MAX, but we’ll definitely be bringing the AWESOME to MAX this year, don’t miss it!

It’s gonna be an awesome time! Make sure you check out the schedule page of the 360|MAX Wiki!

Alos make sure you you rcheck out the RIAdventure site. Some awesome topics forming there! More on that super soon! We’ve got some great sponsors supporting the event! Oh and of course, registration for RIAdventure also gets you a pass to 360|Flex San Jose (hint, early March. BIG Adobe news) which last time sold out. Think it won’t this time?

Plus it’s RIA on a boat! Come on!

Go on a RIAdventure and get a free 360|Flex Ticket

RIAdventure is going to be an awesome time.  There’s no doubt about it.  The conversations are going to be amazing.  How could they not be with all that brainpower from the speakers and attendees.

It’s a cruise though.  While it’s a perk for some, we realize that it’s a detriment to others, particularly those with anal bosses.  (Don’t tell them we said that, okay?)  Therefore we’ve been noodling on, “How can we make it more attractive for people to come?  What can we give them?”

A t-shirt didn’t really seem to cut it.  A Doug McCune beer koozie, probably not gonna push you over the edge.  What’s the most valuable thing 360|Conferences has to offer?  A ticket to what will likely be a sold out show, that’s a pretty cool item, no?

We sure hope so, because today we’re announcing that those who join us at RIAdventure will also get a ticket to 360|Flex next, included in their registration.  ”A 360|Flex ticket for $300 bucks, plus I get to go to RIAdventure! Sign me up!”  While we haven’t formally announced it yet, the next 360Flex will be the last weekend of February, 2010 in San Jose.  We’re just awaiting confirmation from eBay on the space and we’ll be good to announce.  (Unlike other shows, we just can’t bring it on ourselves to announce without a firm date and location, as tempting as it is.)

Now, all you west coasters, this deal is for you.  Fly out to join us on the boat and then drive over to get into 360|Flex for free.  Register now and we’ll see you aboard, matey!  :)

First two speakers announced for RIAdventure 360 – Ryan Stewart and Doug McCune

When we decided to do this conference, we realized it couldn’t just be business as usual.  The likelihood of getting corporate buyoff on a traditional conference being held on a cruise was unlikely.  Even though the cost would be no more than a traditional conference, someone up the management chain would have a tizzy when they saw the NCL (Norwegian Cruise Line) name on the expense report.

Therefore, we decided to take a different approach.  Rather than have rehashed presos and talks about specific products, what if we took it to a higher level?  What if we talked about the future of RIA?  Who would we want leading that discussion?

Two people immediately jumped into my mind when I asked myself that question.  I quickly hit them up on instant messenger to get their initial thoughts.  They caught onto the concept gave a tentative yes.  Now, after checking their schedules, they’ve given the thumbs up to participating.

We’re happy to announce that Doug McCune and Ryan Stewart will be joining us as the first two speakers at the RIAdventure 360 conference.

Doug McCune is one of those amazing tinkerers.  Everyone and their grandma can hatch an idea.  Very few people have the skillset to hatch an idea and make it a reality.  Even fewer have the knowledge and abilities to make it a reality in a matter of days.  Doug is one of those people.  We’re looking forward to hearing how he leverages other people’s work to accomplish new and amazing things in a short amount of time.  He’ll also give input on where RIA should go to enable him to do even greater things.

Ryan Stewart was once THE RIA blogger.  Before Adobe wisely swept him up, Ryan was crisscrossing the country to find all the coolest players in the RIA Space.  If you wanted to know about what was the latest and greatest was in the RIA Space, you just had to hit up Ryan’s blog and you’d be in the know.  We’re offering Ryan a chance to return to his roots.  Adobe has narrowed his focus, but we know that the entire RIA space still runs through his veins.  Once Ryan puts his finger back on that RIA pulse, it’ll be interesting to see what he finds and where he thinks things are heading.

Stay tuned to the speakers page to find out the latest about our speakers.  If you have an idea for a speaker, don’t hesitate to contact us to let us know.
