360Flex 2011 – Adobe Sessions announced

I literally had to fly to San Jose, find Deep and pull her out of a meeting about Flex 5 to get this info, but I knew everyone would want to know what Adobe is planning to present at 360|Flex 2011 :)

So go check out the schedule page, I’ve updated the session details doc, and the schedule pdf, and of course the HTML version :)

360Flex 2011 – Free Flex Components from Flextras

We love doing things that support our sponsors. We hate that so many events have a weird buyer and seller relationship with sponsors. Sponsors are partners, and Flextras, is always fun to work with, especially as another small start up like us!

They’ve decided to give away some copies of their Flex AutoComplete component to a few lucky 360|Flex Denver attendees.  To enter, just order a ticket to 360|Flex anytime, tomorrow, Wednesday February 16th.  If you do that, you’ll be eligible for the unlimited domain edition of the free Flextras AutoComplete Component.

Flextras just released a free, Spark version of their AutoComplete component for anyone to use.  But, with the unlimited domain edition you’ll receive complete source code and full use to their MX AutoComplete component.  Jeffry Houser, the brains behind Flextras, will be talking about building components in MX, Spark, and for Mobile during his 360|Flex presentation.

You can head over to www.flextras.com right now to get the free developer edition, the free Spark AutoComplete, and start developing your applications with it right now.

360Flex – There’s an Android app for that!

Thanks to our awesome pal Chris Griffith! We’ve got an AIR app for Android users.

You can download the app here. Make sure you’ve opted to accept apps from unsigned sources :) But you can trust us.

You’ll need to be on the Pre-release of AIR for Android, but you can sign up here.

360Flex – Get in on the First full day of litl hands-on training

It’s been on the schedule for a while, but we wanted to make sure that it was known. This will be the first ever all day hands-on training for the litl device(s). This is gonna be an excellent opportunity to get hands-on with this awesome new device that’s bringing the Flash Platform out of the browser!

Litl is such and interesting company and device, I’m really excited to see what they’ve got going on and see what awesome things everyone creates during the lab.

Expect to be routinely wow’ed by litl and the powerhouse dev/API team they’ve assembled!! Don’t miss this awesome sunday training session!
Register now! Sunday Hands-On training is completely free to attendees, it’s included in the reg price. Don’t miss out!

360Flex – half the early tickets are gone!

Over half of our early adopter tickets are sold. They sold before we had the schedule, before we had announced our first sponsors. That means that now that the schedule is live, and you can see all the kick ass, frakkin’ awesome topics and speakers we’re going to have, you have a very small window to save $100.

I know it’s not a huge amount, but if you think about it, in the scheme of 360|Flex pricing, it’s 1/5 the price. 20% That’s not bad!

For that kind of money where else are you going to get FREE hands on training the day before the conference, sessions on the Open Source Media Framework, the Text Layout Framework, MultiTouch, Green threading and more? We’ve got 40+ sessions, and if you’re fast you can get them for $100 less than most everyone else.

Oh and don’t forget the panels. We’ve never done panels at 360|Flex, mainly because we’ve  never been able to get them together, this time though… we have 3!

We’ll have more details soon on them, but you won’t want to miss any of them!

Register now, don’t miss THE Flex conference of 2010 (Well at least one of them, we’ll probably do 360|Flex East). Register now!
