360Flex – Speaker Live Chat – Dan Florio
Posted on | January 7, 2010 | 3 Comments
We love doing the speaker interviews, and will continue to post more of those, but we’re also starting something new next week. We’ll be bringing one or more of our speakers live (Over Adobe Connect) to hold a round table style online chat. Talk about their topic at 360|Flex, their take on Flex 4 skinning, component life cycle, Third party components, whatever.
The chats are open to any and all who want to attend. We’ll be posting about each chat ahead of time, with links and info.
Next week, the 14th, we’ll have Dan Florio, AKA @polygeek. Ask him about Runpee (recently ported to Flex 4 IIRC), or what the weather is like in AZ right now. Just join the chat at 12pm MST (11am West Coast, 2pm East Coast) and say hi and chat with a 360|Flex speaker before you see him in San Jose.
If you subscribe to the 360|Flex gCal, the speaker chats will be in it.
Not registered for 360|Flex? What’re you waiting for? Register now to attend the best and only community focused Flex/AS/AIR conference in the world. While you’re at it, make sure you’re staying at the San Jose Marriott! All speakers will be there, and after we’re done at Ebay, the party WILL be at the Marriott :) Get your room now while there’s some left.

I'm looking forward to getting feedback from the community about the topics they would like to hear me cover during the session. Managing RunPee.com is a lot more than just writing code. There's using the social networking, getting press coverage, monetizing, etc. I'd like to know what people want to hear about the most. Because otherwise I'm going to spend my time talking about how awesome Flex 4 is. :)
