360Flex – Session – Flex AJAX Bridge

Posted on | April 29, 2009 | No Comments

As much as we’d all love it to be the case, legacy apps are out there, hiding in the shadows of the NOC, lurking in racks, and in old beige box servers. They’re out there.

Luckily legacy apps don’t have to be your bane. With the Flex-AJAX bridge you can still make use of a Flex RIA and your legacy software. Adrian Pomilio will be talking about just that in his session ‘Flex Ajax Bridge and Legacy Applications’

A hands on session where you will learn how to work with the Flex Ajax Bridge and create Flex applications from the safety of JavaScript. ” Why would I want to do this,” you say.  Well your boss just explained that you need to integrate Flex into a legacy application and the developers supporting the application only know JavaScript.  Uh oh, well never fear this is where the Flex Ajax Bridge comes into play.  Basic JavaScript knowledge is required and familiarity with Flex is recommended.

It’s a hands on session so make sure to bring your laptop and your questions. No note taking on your glare-friendly yellow notebook.  Oh no, instead you’re gonna learn some stuff and take code home with you!

Time and space are running out, REGISTER NOW for the best and most advanced Flex and AIR conference in the world. Seriously, we mean it, we’ve been around the world and we know :) You’ll get no better Flex, AIR, and AS content anywhere.
