360Flex over 100 submissions!

With the deadline for submitting a session almost upon us, I’m honored, impressed, and freaked out that we’re at over 100 submissions.

That doesn’t inclue the business track! Business folks are like cats, hard to herd!

I’m honored because to date, that’s a record for submissions for 360|Flex. I remember our first two shows we waited and waited for submissions, having to bug, harass, and beg people to speak. Then we started to pick up momentum, and now, wow! over 100 sessions, on Flex! Not ColdFusion, not .NET. Flex, Air and ActionScript!

I’m impressed for much the same reasons, 100 topics, of which we’ll only be able to pick 30 or so, leaving 70 awesome topics on the table for the next 360|flex, or whatever conference fancies themselves a Flex event ;)

Freaked out, because in the next week, Tom and I have to go through the submissions and pick one. Holy crap that’s not gonna be easy! One the things I hate the most is selecting our schedule, mainly because we send a person note to every person who doesn’t get selected and I hate writing those, just makes me sad, I wish it was feasable that 360|Flex be a 5 day event!

It’s gonna be awesome! I’m gonna start blogging about Indy make sure everyone realizes how cool the venue is. Cuz I know, it’s Indy, but it’s cool. Pullman cars in the hotel. walking distance to some awesome food and drink

Don’t wait register now, while it’s cheap(er than usual)!
